Eskisehir Chamber of Industry was established in 1969, and Organized Industrial Zone was planned approximately one million square meters at the beginning, and served to the investors in 1973. By the time the zone was reached three million square meters, in 1979. Years passed and today Organized Industrial Zone is reached 32 million square meters. There are totally 345 private establishments in the Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone, 218 of them are still productive, 56 of them are on construction stage, and 71 of them are in planning stage.

There are approximately 21.000 workers in the plants of Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone. Development of the zone was also continuing with important establishments. Science Park in 1997, Natural Gas Power Plant in 1998, Logistic Center in 2004, Business Center in 2004, and Technology Center in 2004 were established, respectively.

In 2005 to provide different opportunities to small and medium sized enterprises, Eskisehir Chamber of Industry started to build up infrastructure of an area, approximately 550.000 square meters, in the Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone. At the end of this project, 2000 employment is aimed in Eskisehir.
